Harry Edward Styles - also known as Harry Styles - is a British musician and composer. Harry Styles has been credited as composing songs to The One Direction band. He was born in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, England on the 1st of February 1994. He is the father of Des Styles and Anne Cox. Harry Styles was a student at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School where together with his three classmates He formed his own group, White Eskimo. White Eskimo won 2009's Battle of Bands thanks to the excellent presentation they gave. In spite of always having an interest in music He also wished to become the next lawyer or an physiotherapist. When he worked at the city's baker Harry Styles could afford to support his family. Harry Styles, in 2010, auditioned to be on The X Factor. His track Is not She Lovely was recorded by Stevie Wonder. His band was forced to split up because of this. Nicole Scherzinger was the judge who recommended Harry Styles to be part the group that would later be called One Direction, along with Liam Payne Zayn malik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored five teenagers to create the group in 2010. During the competition the band played songs, such as My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson and Total Eclipse of the Heart from Bonnie Tyler so the group were among the hopefuls to win the contest. But they came in third, a place behind Rebecca Ferguson. Even though Harry Styles and his group didn't win, Cowell signed a deal worth 2 million pounds to One Direction to sign with the Syco recording label.
