Kari Samantha (born April 28 on 1967) Wuhrer is a famous American actor and singer. Wuhrer started her career when she was a teenager. She is most known for playing Maggie Beckett on the TV series Sliders as well as her character, Sheriff Samantha Parker, in the thriller-comedy movie Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer was born at Brookfield Connecticut as the daughter of Karin Noble who was employed as a payroll clerk, and German American Andrew Wuhrer. There are three siblings. She started singing at clubs as a teenager, and often would leave her house to sing. From the Wooster school at 13 years old She began her studies in drama. Later, she attended the Tisch School of the Arts located at New York University, Marymount Manhattan College at Columbia University and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, under the famous teacher Uta Hagen. Kari's children are three. Kari sang in nightclubs when she was just a teenager. Her habit was to sneak away from home and perform. Kari was studying acting by the time she was just 13 years old.
